Third Annual Walk-A-Thon
APOLLO BEACH, FL (MediaQuire} February 9, 2010 — The Keller Williams Realty South Shore Market Center’s “South Shore Cares” organization believes in giving back to our local community. In that spirit, the 3rd Annual South Shore Cares Walk-a-thon will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010. Warm up/registration will begin at 8:30 am in the Mirabay Village Shopping Center. The 4-mile fun walk will start at 9:00 am.
“We believe in supporting the community where we live and work. It’s our way of saying thanks to our friends, neighbors, clients and customers,” says Team Leader, Sally McFolling. “It is a great way to support a great charity and have fun at the same time.”
Keller Williams Realty South Shore chose Angels for Foster Kids (www.angelsforfosterkids.com) as its 2010 charity. Margaret Iuculano, Founder and Acting Director, explains that Angels for Foster Kids works to provide emergency shelters for abused children and emergency financial support for families in crisis. In addition, they support child service programs designed to enhance foster children’s opportunities for success, improve their education, personal skill development, and living conditions.
